Come on over to Elysian’s Christmas Acting Academy program and join us with our production of A Christmas Carol! This program encompasses a series of workshops facilitated by industry professionals based in Toronto, a rehearsal process, and a performance. The workshops will explore some of the fundamentals of acting basics, from script analysis to audition processes, to staging, vocals, (carol singing), and exploring our bodies through dramatic text. We will be sure to have a lot of fun, hone our acting chops, strengthen our communication skills, and explore our creativity through this adapted Dickens classic.
In this program, participants will meet twice a week, commencing October 22nd on Saturdays and Sundays to polish their acting skills and rehearse the show – just in time for the holidays. We will hold a dress rehearsal on the 18th of December and 3 public showings at the Gospel Hall on Broadview Avenue on the 19th, 20th and 21st of December. Each participant will receive two tickets to share with family/friends.
Cost: $600 per child for the full programme.
We are offering TWO full scholarships out of our Youth Access Fund. Please contact using the form/email below for more details.
